First Entry and Challenges

I've been lurking around bloggie-land and have been in awe of all the talent and creativity I see posted every day. I loved the fact that people can enter 1 card in several different challenges because of 1 element or another. This is my first card and I have managed to construct it to fit several challenges myself! Thanks for looking!

I used all DCWV papers, PrismaColor pencils in Beige, Burnt Ochre, and Dark Umber for the puppy; Limepeel for the grass and Cloud Blue for the sky with OMS and stumps. It is hard to see but the yellow mat paper is a damask print.

All paper edges were inked with Chocolate Chip ink by Stampin' Up. The sky was sponged with Bordering Blue and the grass with Kiwi Kiss.

The edges of the puppy piece were distressed. I also used Spellbinders Nestabilities for the scalloped square around the puppy and the Ruff square. The "Ruff" was hand stitched using Bazzill In Stitchz Java thread and Puppy paper piercing template. The square has been raised on dimensionals. The ribbon is by Offray, the enamaled charm and buttons are from unknown sources and the hemp cord is by Stampin' Up. The image is a puppy that I cut out of a Carson Delosa Getting Ready for Preshcool book and colored.
